Today marks the 1 year anniversary of my blog! Can you believe it? Where has the time gone? Today I’m going to take a little break from crocheting to tell everyone “Thank you!” When I started Amanda Crochets a year ago, I wanted to have a place where I share my love of crochet with others through tutorials and reviews. I’ve loved every second of it, and it has been a tremendous journey. I am so appreciative of the support I have received from my husband, my readers, and the blogging community. I thank all of you that have taken the time to read my blog, comment on it, or follow it. Without your support, there is no blog, and I’m very humbled by the response. I truly love working on my blog and want to explore new ways to make it even better.
So as a little Thank You for making my first anniversary one to remember, I am hosting a small giveaway. These are some of my favorite items that I enjoy, and I hope you do as well. One winner will get all of the prizes listed below.
First up is my absolute favorite brand of crochet hooks, Clover Amour. I will be giving away one Clover Amour size I-9 crochet hook. I only use this brand of crochet hook as I find them very light to hold and very easy to work with. Plus, they’re a great ergonomic hook as my hands don’t cramp up after hours of crocheting. Next, the winner will receive this tape measure, one of the essential tools you’ll need when learning how to crochet. It comes in handy when you need to measure your work to make sure you’re following the pattern correctly. I love how compact this tape measure is and the pink color, of course.
The next item in this giveaway are three skeins of my favorite yarn brand, Deborah Norville Every Day Yarn. I have a review of this yarn, which you can read about here. The color of this yarn is Baby Blue. I absolutely love this yarn and have used it for many different projects including baby blankets, sweaters, and hats. I find that Deborah Norville Every Day Yarn holds up extremely well after washing it and doesn’t pill up at all. It’s durable, but very soft.
