Bernat Baby Blanket Yarn Review

Today I will be reviewing Bernat Baby Blanket Yarn. I instantly fell in love with this yarn as it is super comfortable, fun to touch, and lush, making it perfect for baby blankets.

This yarn is classified as a 6-super bulky weight yarn and comes in two different sizes: 3.5 ounces and 10.5 ounces. This yarn comes in a variety of solid colors as well as variegated colors. Since this collection is geared towards babies, there are a lot of pastel colors here. However, there is a home collection of this same yarn called Bernat Blanket Yarn. You can find warmer tones here, so feel free to mix and match these colors for your next project. The recommended hook size is a size K-10.5, and for the knitters a recommended needle size of US 11. This yarn is machine washable.

I love working with this yarn as I love the way it feels. It really is nice and warm, which makes this the perfect blanket yarn. If I’m using this yarn, I tend to use a size N or P crochet hook instead so the stitches are bigger. To me, the blanket feels more lightweight. You can find this yarn at your local craft store and online. I highly recommend using this yarn for your next blanket project, whether it’s for a baby or even for yourself. I’m supremely confident you will feel the same way I do about it. It is truly special and one of a kind.

The color that is shown here is called Pitter Patter. It’s a really pretty color. I’m working on a baby blanket now, so once I have that complete, I will post some pictures.
