Black Friday Yarn Haul Shopping Trip

Hey everyone! Today I’m going to share my Black Friday yarn haul with you! With a TON of great Black Friday yarn deals out there, I thought I would take advantage of these sales and write a yarn haul post. Other stores had great Black Friday deals, I’m sure, but for the purposes of this blog, let’s focus on just the amazing yarn deals.  That is my number one passion and love after all! It is better than any electronic! Also be on the lookout as there are still a lot of different sales going on throughout the weekend. Now without further ado, here is the yarn I picked up.

I always enjoy working with Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn. This yarn is super soft and plush. I stocked up on some more of this yarn in order to have enough for a baby blanket. While I’m undecided on which pattern to use, I’m sure I’ll come up with something fun. The colors are Baby Pink and Snow White.

I also picked up a skein of Aunt Lydia’s Crochet Thread in the color Ocean. Looking online, a few people crocheted over their phone charger cords to help protect them as well as help them distinguish theirs from other people’s phone charger cords.  I did not start on this project yet, but I’m hoping to do so soon. (Note: After reading more about this project, your cord could overheat and start a fire, so I decided against this. I do not want that to happen!) There are a TON of different crochet projects running through my mind right now that I just want to do them all!

That concludes my Black Friday yarn haul! Leave a comment below if you did any Black Friday (yarn) shopping? What was your experience like?  What did you end up picking up?

I don’t do Black Friday but I may need to reconsider next year. I didn’t even think of yarn sales! Doh!

Joann fabrics wasn’t bad, but the sales are good on their website too. 🙂

Amanda

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by! I’m Amanda, the crochet addict behind-the-scenes. I was always interested in crafting and being creative. One day I decided to learn how to crochet. I was instantly drawn to crochet and thought it was incredible how you could make something out of yarn and a hook. I guess you can say I’ve been ‘hooked’ ever since. Feel free to email me at amandacrochets@yahoo.com with any questions.
