Today I’ll be sharing my Chunky Ribbed Blanket pattern with you. I have a tutorial on how to crochet in the back loops only, which you can check out here. This blanket is made using the new Caron Chunky Cake yarn. You can check out my review of this yarn here. This chunky ribbed blanket measures 40×40. You can also customize this blanket to be wider or longer depending on your preference. However, you will need to purchase more yarn if you decide to make this blanket wider or longer.

For today’s tutorial, you will need bulky weight yarn (I’m using Caron Chunky Cake) and a size N-10mm crochet hook (I’m using Clover Amour). Feel free to use a different bulky weight yarn in a solid or variegated color if you’d like. You can also change colors to achieve the look you’re going for. To learn how to change colors, please visit this tutorial. Gather up your supplies and let’s begin!

I hope you enjoyed today’s pattern on my chunky ribbed blanket! Again, if you want to purchase the ad-free version, you can do so here. Feel free to make this super soft blanket in a baby blanket size or feel free to make it bigger. The texture of this blanket makes it a fun design while also keeping you nice and warm. If you have any questions about today’s pattern, please leave a comment below. I’d love to hear from you!

Amanda

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by! I’m Amanda, the crochet addict behind-the-scenes. I was always interested in crafting and being creative. One day I decided to learn how to crochet. I was instantly drawn to crochet and thought it was incredible how you could make something out of yarn and a hook. I guess you can say I’ve been ‘hooked’ ever since. Feel free to email me at amandacrochets@yahoo.com with any questions.
