Hi everyone! As promised, here is my completed Bernat Baby blanket using the Bernat Baby Blanket yarn. For a full review of this yarn, please visit my previous post here.

completed bernat baby blanketThis finished blanket measures 47” x 44”. I used a simple V-stitch to complete this blanket.  I really love how this baby blanket turned out. Because it’s a super bulky weight yarn, it works up fast. I was able to complete this blanket in a few days.  Of course, it’s also super soft and squishy. I definitely have to make a blanket for myself of out this yarn! There is just something about the feel of yarn that really makes me happy. I get the same feeling when a book has that “new book” smell. It is very exciting and it adds a new level of enjoyment to it. Sometimes I find myself just touching yarn as I’m looking at it. That is a major thing my finance and I share, even if they are different passions. He loves to look at movies and pick them up, even if he is not going to buy anything. I often play around with yarn, even though I have a ton at home. It is window shopping with passion!

That is BEAUTIFUL! 😀 If it was socially accepted, I would sleep with baby blankets every night of my life. 😉

Amanda

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by! I’m Amanda, the crochet addict behind-the-scenes. I was always interested in crafting and being creative. One day I decided to learn how to crochet. I was instantly drawn to crochet and thought it was incredible how you could make something out of yarn and a hook. I guess you can say I’ve been ‘hooked’ ever since. Feel free to email me at amandacrochets@yahoo.com with any questions.
