Easy & Simple Soap Saver

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing my newest crochet pattern, the Easy & Simple Soap Saver. This is a beginner-friendly crochet pattern that works up quickly. Store your bar of soap inside and use the easy drawstring pull to hang this in the shower.

The Easy & Simple Soap Saver is made using 100% cotton yarn in three different colors. However, this soap sack would be pretty in just about every color combination out there. The possibilities are truly endless!

For the Easy & Simple Soap Saver, I used Hobby Lobby I Love This Cotton. However, you can use whatever cotton yarn you’d like. I also used a size H-8 (5mm) crochet hook. I highly recommend using my favorite crochet hooks, Clover Amour. You will also need a tapestry needle and a pair of scissors. Gather your supplies and let’s begin!

Materials:

  • (1) skein of Hobby Lobby I Love This Cotton in White, Aqua, and Deep Teal (you can make several soap savers with one skein of yarn)
  • H-8 (5mm) crochet hook
  • Tapestry needle
  • Scissors

Size:

3×4.5

Notes:

  • To change the size of your soap saver, you will simply increase the amount of chains at the beginning. If you want your soap saver taller, you will make more rounds.
  • The chain 2 does not count as a stitch.
  • Do not turn after each round. You will work each round in the same direction.

If you would like to purchase an ad-free version of this pattern, you can do so here.

Amanda

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by! I’m Amanda, the crochet addict behind-the-scenes. I was always interested in crafting and being creative. One day I decided to learn how to crochet. I was instantly drawn to crochet and thought it was incredible how you could make something out of yarn and a hook. I guess you can say I’ve been ‘hooked’ ever since. Feel free to email me at amandacrochets@yahoo.com with any questions.
