Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn Review

Today’s yarn review is going to be on Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn. This yarn is 100% acrylic and considered a 4-worsted weight yarn. Many have compared this yarn to Red Heart Super Saver, but I find that it’s much softer. For the crocheters out there, the recommended hook size is a size I-9, while the recommended needle size for knitters is a size US 8.

This brand has some AMAZING colors to choose from and as they say, variety is the spice of life. There are many different solid and variegated colors to choose from that it is hard to not pick them all. Between the bright in-your-face colors as well as subtle neutral colors, there is something for everyone, which makes it quite appealing, as you never have to be without a color you love. Much like Caron Simply Soft, some colors have some sheen to them. I was very impressed with the color selection of this store brand yarn. Each solid color is 7 oz. while the variegated colors are 5 oz. This yarn is machine washable.

I HIGHLY recommend this yarn for a variety of projects such as hats, scarves, blankets, and sweaters. I have made many things using this brand of yarn. It is definitely one of my go-to yarns as I love the quality of it and, of course, the softness of it. In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn! This yarn doesn’t go on sale very often, unfortunately, but it’s worth picking up. Hobby Lobby also has a yarn line called I Love This Cotton. This yarn is so soft that it doesn’t even feel like cotton. You have a nice selection of colors to choose from as well.

This is my favorite yarn. It’s soft durable and available in many colors. It is also reasonably priced so when I make something to sale it keeps the prices down. I can’t think of anything bad about it

This is one of my favorite yarns. It’s very reasonably priced (especially with my 40% coupon on my Hobby Lobby app) but also its so soft that it doesn’t feel like a bargain yarn. I noticed recently they also have a cotton line which I’m eager to try.

This yarn is really nice and soft. If you ever get a chance to try their cotton yarn, you will not be disappointed. It’s so soft you wouldn’t even know it’s cotton!

Amanda

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by! I’m Amanda, the crochet addict behind-the-scenes. I was always interested in crafting and being creative. One day I decided to learn how to crochet. I was instantly drawn to crochet and thought it was incredible how you could make something out of yarn and a hook. I guess you can say I’ve been ‘hooked’ ever since. Feel free to email me at amandacrochets@yahoo.com with any questions.
