Modern Chevron Scarf Pattern

Hey everyone! Today I’m sharing my newest crochet pattern, the Modern Chevron Scarf. One of my favorite patterns to make is the chevron pattern, so I thought I would incorporate that into a scarf. This chevron scarf is made using worsted weight yarn. You can certainly change up the colors to whatever you would like or even make this scarf in a solid color. This would be a perfect project to use up leftover yarn from a previous project like I did here.

The Modern Chevron Scarf is made using worsted weight yarn. For this pattern, you will need one skein each of Paton’s Canadiana yarn in Winter White, Pale Teal, Medium Teal, and Pale Grey Mix. You can find this yarn on Amazon or on joann.com. You will also need a size H-8 crochet hook, a tapestry needle, and scissors. Gather your supplies and let’s begin!

MODERN CHEVRON SCARF

Materials:

  • 1 skein each of Paton’s Candiana in Winter White, Pale Teal, Medium Teal, and Pale Grey Mix
  • H-8 crochet hook (I’m using Clover Amour)
  • Tapestry needle
  • Scissors

Note:

  • This pattern is worked in a chevron design. However, if you don’t know how to make a chevron, you can check out my tutorial here.
  • If you would like to adjust this pattern to be bigger or smaller, you will make a chain in a multiple of 10 plus 1. Once you’re satisfied with the length, you will add 3 more chains onto the end. This will help keep everything balanced.

Size:

8×43

To purchase an ad-free version of this pattern, you can check it out in my Etsy Shop.

Amanda

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by! I’m Amanda, the crochet addict behind-the-scenes. I was always interested in crafting and being creative. One day I decided to learn how to crochet. I was instantly drawn to crochet and thought it was incredible how you could make something out of yarn and a hook. I guess you can say I’ve been ‘hooked’ ever since. Feel free to email me at amandacrochets@yahoo.com with any questions.
