Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing with you my newest crochet pattern, the Peppermint Throw Blanket. This is a great beginner-friendly crochet pattern that uses the famous ripple stitch. The Peppermint Throw Blanket consists of a one row repeat and can be made in a variety of different colors.

The Peppermint Throw Blanket is made using Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn Metallic in traditional holiday colors. However, you can use any #4 worsted weight yarn you have in your yarn stash. I also used a size J-10 crochet hook. My favorite crochet hooks to use are the Clover Amour. You will also need a pair of scissors and a tapestry needle. Gather your supplies and let’s begin!

Notes:

  • To change up the sizing of this blanket, make a chain in a multiple of 14. Once satisfied, you will add 3 more chains to the end.
  • The chain 3 at the beginning of each row counts as your first double crochet.

Amanda

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by! I’m Amanda, the crochet addict behind-the-scenes. I was always interested in crafting and being creative. One day I decided to learn how to crochet. I was instantly drawn to crochet and thought it was incredible how you could make something out of yarn and a hook. I guess you can say I’ve been ‘hooked’ ever since.
