Hey everyone! Today’s fall/Halloween pattern is my Pumpkin Wall Hanging. This is a super simple and cute design that works up quickly. You can customize this Pumpkin Wall Hanging to your likely. For example, if you want to make this a fall decoration, you can simply add leaves. However, if you want to make this into a Halloween decoration, you can certainly use black felt to make any spooky face you’d like. It’s all up to you!

For today’s pattern, you will need worsted weight yarn in orange and green. I’m using a combination of Red Heart Super Saver and Walmart Mainstays. You will also need a size H-8 crochet hook. I’m using my favorite Clover Amour hooks. Next, you’ll need a tapestry needle, scissors, and some black felt (optional). Gather your supplies and let’s begin!

Assembly

I tried to sew my pumpkins on so that I had 6 rows of the stem in between each pumpkin to make it more even looking.

Starting with large pumpkin, sew to bottom of the stem using orange yarn. You will only sew the first 6 rows onto the large pumpkin. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Next, skip 6 rows of stem and sew on medium pumpkin. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Love this, Amanda! These might also work as a little placemat for kids’ parties (cupcake on the largest pumpkin, candy corn on another, etc.). I was also thinking of just making the big size and adding more pumpkins to make a table runner for the kids’ table. Whatever I do, thanks so much for the fabulous idea and the pattern!

Amanda

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by! I’m Amanda, the crochet addict behind-the-scenes. I was always interested in crafting and being creative. One day I decided to learn how to crochet. I was instantly drawn to crochet and thought it was incredible how you could make something out of yarn and a hook. I guess you can say I’ve been ‘hooked’ ever since. Feel free to email me at amandacrochets@yahoo.com with any questions.
