Hey everyone! Today I’m sharing my Sedge Stitch Baby Blanket with you. This has been one of my favorite stitches lately, so I thought I’d share a pattern with you. To learn how to make the sedge stitch (video tutorial included), you can refer to my tutorial here.

The Sedge Stitch Baby Blanket is a wonderfully textured blanket that is sure to keep baby warm. This baby blanket is made using basic crochet stitches to create this textured look. Using Red Heart Ombre yarn gives this blanket a beautiful effect without having to switch up colors. To see my review on this yarn, you can check it out here.

To complete the Sedge Stitch Baby Blanket, you will need worsted weight yarn. As mentioned I’m using Red Heart Ombre, but any worsted weight yarn will work. (I also used Lion Brand Mandala Gradient) I’m also using an I-9 (5.5mm) crochet hook, scissors, and a tapestry needle. To check out my favorite Clover Amour Hooks, check out my review here. Gather your supplies and let’s begin!

Amanda

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by! I’m Amanda, the crochet addict behind-the-scenes. I was always interested in crafting and being creative. One day I decided to learn how to crochet. I was instantly drawn to crochet and thought it was incredible how you could make something out of yarn and a hook. I guess you can say I’ve been ‘hooked’ ever since. Feel free to email me at amandacrochets@yahoo.com with any questions.
