Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing with you my newest crochet pattern, the Slanted Shell Dishcloth. This dishcloth can be made in any color to match your kitchen décor or even your friend or family’s décor.

For the Slanted Shell Dishcloth, I used #4 worsted weight cotton yarn. I used Hobby Lobby I Love This Cotton, however, you can use any cotton yarn you’d like. I also used a size H-8 (5.0 mm) crochet hook. My favorite crochet hooks to use are the Clover Amour. You will also need a pair of scissors and a tapestry needle. Gather your supplies and let’s begin!

Materials:

  • 1 skein of Hobby Lobby I Love This Cotton
  • H-8 (5.0 mm) crochet hook
  • Tapestry needle
  • Scissors

Size:

6.5 x 6.5 square

Notes:

  • To change the sizing of this dishcloth, you will need to make your chain in a multiple of 4+2. This means you will multiply any number by 4, and when you’re satisfied you will add 2 chains to the very end.

If you would like to purchase an ad-free version of this pattern, you can do so here.

Amanda

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by! I’m Amanda, the crochet addict behind-the-scenes. I was always interested in crafting and being creative. One day I decided to learn how to crochet. I was instantly drawn to crochet and thought it was incredible how you could make something out of yarn and a hook. I guess you can say I’ve been ‘hooked’ ever since. Feel free to email me at amandacrochets@yahoo.com with any questions.
