Blanket Stitch Baby Blanket Pattern

Today I’ll be sharing my new Blanket Stitch Baby Blanket with you. I fell in love with this stitch, so I knew I had to get it on my hook immediately! Check out my previous Crochet 101 tutorial where I show you how to make the blanket stitch. It’s a fun, textured pattern that works up quickly. Once you understand the repeat pattern, it will become mindless to where you can focus on a movie or television show.

For today’s tutorial, you will need worsted weight yarn (I’m using Caron Big Cake in Afternoon Tea) and a size J-10 crochet hook (I’m using Clover Amour). The finished baby blanket measures 34×39. However, you can customize this baby blanket to be wider or longer depending on your preference.

You can purchase the ad-free version here for only a few dollars.

Gather up your supplies and let’s begin!

I hope you enjoyed today’s pattern on my blanket stitch baby blanket. This blanket makes a nice baby shower gift to welcome baby. Feel free to change up the colors to fit your needs. The texture of this blanket stitch baby blanket makes it looks more complicated than it actually is. If you have any questions about today’s pattern, please leave a comment below. I’d love to hear from you!
