Boardwalk Dreams Blanket

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing with you my newest crochet pattern, the Boardwalk Dreams Blanket. This blanket reminds me of the beach with all its beautiful colors. It’s a two-row repeat, which makes it beginner-friendly and quick to make.

For the Boardwalk Dreams Blanket, I chose a cotton blend yarn. The yarn I used is Caron Cotton Cakes in Blue Hawaiian, which is a #4 worsted weight 60% cotton, 40% acrylic yarn.

However, you can use any worsted weight #4 yarn you’d like. If you’d like to use a different weight of yarn, you can do so as well. I also used a size H-8 crochet hook. My favorite crochet hooks to use are the Clover Amour. You will also need a pair of scissors and a tapestry needle. Gather your supplies and let’s begin!

Materials:

Size:

32×32

Notes:

  • To change the width of this blanket, you will make a chain in a multiple of 4+2. This means you will multiply any number by 4. Once satisfied, you will add 2 chains at the very end.
  • You will start and end your blanket with a row of single crochet.
