Hey everyone! Today I’m sharing my completed market tote bag using Caron Cotton Cake yarn (check out my review here). When I first discovered this yarn, I knew I had to try it out! I loved the original Caron Cake yarn so much that I figured this newest line would be just as amazing. (I also enjoyed the Caron Baby Cake yarn line, which you can read my review of here.)

Market Tote Bag

After searching and searching for the right market tote bag pattern, I came across one that I fell in love with and knew I had to get it on my hook. The pattern I’m using is the Large Market Tote Bag by Lauren of Daisy Cottage Designs. I found this pattern very fun and easy to do. You can also customize it to make a smaller or bigger bag, depending on what you’re looking for. I ended up using almost 2 full skeins of Caron Cotton Cake in Beach Glass to complete this market tote bag pattern. (NOTE: Because of the feel of this yarn, it’s not intended for dishcloths or towels. This yarn is intended for fashion. Do not use for your dishes or kitchen needs.)

The end result of this bag is beautiful! I love the colors as it gives a very beachy vibe to the market tote bag. I’m sure this bag would look beautiful in a variety of different color options as well. I highly recommend checking out the Large Market Tote Bag pattern and giving it a try yourself. The pattern is well-written and works up quickly!

Amanda

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by! I’m Amanda, the crochet addict behind-the-scenes. I was always interested in crafting and being creative. One day I decided to learn how to crochet. I was instantly drawn to crochet and thought it was incredible how you could make something out of yarn and a hook. I guess you can say I’ve been ‘hooked’ ever since. Feel free to email me at amandacrochets@yahoo.com with any questions.
