Waffle Stitch Scarf Pattern

Today I’ll be sharing my Waffle Stitch Scarf Pattern with you. I fell in love with the waffle stitch, so I knew there were going to be more patterns using this stitch in the future. My most popular pattern using this stitch is my Waffle Blanket. You can view the pattern here. The waffle stitch scarf uses the same concept, only on a smaller scale. This is a great stitch as it’ll keep you nice and warm for the upcoming chilly weather.

For today’s tutorial, you will need worsted weight yarn (I’m using Caron Cake Yarn) and a size I-9 crochet hook (I’m using Clover Amour). The finished scarf measures 6″W x 66″ L. However, you can customize this scarf to be wider or longer depending on your preference. Gather up your supplies and let’s begin!

ROW 3: Work a dc into the very first stitch. *Work a dc in the next stitch and a fpdc in the next two stitches. Repeat from * to last two stitches. Next, work 1 dc into each of the remaining 2 stitches. Chain 1 and turn.

Repeat ROWS 2 and 3 until scarf measures 66 inches or desired length. Be sure to end on a row 2 for a neat edge.

I hope you enjoyed today’s pattern on my waffle stitch scarf. Feel free to make this scarf for yourself, a family member, or a friend. This also makes a great winter gift. The texture of this waffle stitch scarf makes it a fun design while also keeping you nice and warm. If you have any questions about today’s pattern, please leave a comment below.
